“Table Talk with the Neighborhood Pastor” will be a fast-paced discussion forum, recorded and then posted both on this website and on our faith-based YouTube channel. It will be an open-mike forum for groups of 5-7 Christian women, “mostly” age 18-30 (but with a few of the “elderly” 30+ who have “been there, done that”), married and unmarried. We’ll be sitting together for wine, hors d’oeuvres, laughter, and honest reactions to questions posed by an online, young-adult audience—questions that will be submitted in real time and allow no preparation by the panel.
Topics might include love, marriage & divorce, surviving marriage & divorce, children, the workplace, money, stress, uncertainty, “my husband!” . . . and sex with my husband (for better or worse).
The TT format is anticipated to be “light-hearted chaos.” We’re organizing a handful of mini-groups of panelists who are willing to say what they think and who can laugh off being nervous, confused, and tongue-tied while on an open mike.
TT will be recorded “audio only” (which means you’d be welcome to come as you are); you’d be known to the listening audience by only a first name of your own choosing.
